Akiko Miyakoshi

Akiko Miyakoshi is the author and illustrator of The Tea Party in the Woods, winner of the Japan Picture book Award Grand Prix, and The Storm, winner of the Nissan Children's Storybook and Picture Book Grand Prix. Her stories have also received international acclaim, including a special mention at the BolognaRagazzi Awards for the Japanese edition of The Way Home in the Night. She lives in Tokyo, Japan.
