Angela Burke Kunkel

Angela Burke Kunkle is the author of Digging for Words, an ALA-ALSC Notable Children's Book, a Kirkus Reviews Best Children's Book of the Year, and the winner of both the Americas Award and the International Latino Book Award for Best Children's Fiction Picture Book—English. She is also the author of Make Way: The Story of Robert McCloskey, Nancy Schon, and Some Very Famous Ducklings, which received starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews and Publishers Weekly. Angela lives with her family in Vermont. Every summer, they go camping on the seacoast of Maine.
