Christine Davenier
1961 -Paris-born artist Christine Davenier is the acclaimed illustrator of more than sixty children's books, including the best-selling The Very Fairy Princess series, written by Julie Andrews and Emma Walton Hamilton; Peter, Paul & Mary's It's Raining, It's Pouring; and The First Thing My Mama Told Me, by Susan Marie Swanson, for which she won a New York Times Book Review Best Illustrated Children's Book of the Year award and a Charlotte Zolotow Award honor. Christine lives in Paris with her daughter.
