Emilie Boon

Emilie Boon is the illustrator or author-illustrator of more than 20 children's books, including Ella & Monkey at Sea. Born in the Netherlands, Emilies spent her childhood daydreaming in California and Mexico. She believes in the power of the imagination and draws inspiration from places she's lived, including Manhattan. She vividly remembers the city transformed into a magical place by snow. Emilie now daydreams in an old mill near Boston.
