Janet S. Wong

Janet S. Wong, the American-born daughter of immigrant parents from China and Korea, understands well the experience of living between cultures. She is an award-winning author of picture books and poetry for young readers, including Buzz, illustrated by Margaret Chodos-Irvine, and The Trip Back Home, which was illustrated by Bo Jia and was the first recipient of the annual Asian Pacific American Award for Literature. She lives with her family in Medina, Washington.
