Marion Dane Bauer

Marion Dane Bauer is the author of many books for children of all ages, including the Newbery Honor Book On My Honor. She was inspired to write Winter Dance when she discovered that foxes really do dance in the winter landscape. She lives in Minneapolis, where she has plenty of opportunity to enjoy the falling snow.
