Nancy Raines Day

Nancy Raines Day has always enjoyed reading folktales, but not the ones with wicked stepmothers. So when Ms. Day came across the story of a good stepmother, she wanted to share it with picture book readers, especially stepparents and stepchildren. Ms. Day is a freelance writer. She lives in northern California with her husband and two children.
