Sarah S. Brannen

Sarah S. Brannen has been an avid beachgoer since childhood. She traveled to beaches in Maine, Florida, and Massachusetts in order to paint many shells in this book from real-life specimens. Sarah is the author and illustrator of the Madame Martine Books, Bear Needs Help, and Uncle Bobby's Wedding and has illustrated several other books, including Feathers: Not Just For Flying—the companion picture book to Seashells: More Than a Home. She lives in Massachusetts.
