Steve Light

Steve Lights is the author-illustrator of The Christmas Giant and Zephyr Takes Flight, which School Library Journal praised for its "combination of a strong-willed girl and imaginative art." About Have you Seen My Dragon?, he says, "When I visited New York City as a kid, my father would tell me that the steam coming from the manhole covers was dragon's breath—which made me want to live there!" Steve Light got his wish. He lives in New York City with his wife and cat.
