More about Blaze, that favorite pony all children love.
This time both Billy and Blaze are heroes. On one of their rides, it is Blaze who first detects smoke in the brush, and then when flames burst out, Billy knows they must warn the countryside. Together they race through the woods to get help to put out the fire. It was a long way and a hard ride, and Blaze was bruised and scratched and tired when they reached the farm, but Billy was very proud of him. You will all be glad to know how the farmers showed Billy and Blaze their appreciation.
Beautiful full page pictures and brief text in clear, large type for first readers.
