Big Bill is a cook on Cowboy Sam's ranch and Porky is his horse. All the cowboys make fun of Porky, for all he seems to do is eat and sleep.

The secret of how to make Porky work and gallop like the other cowboys' horses is quite accidentally discovered, and results in a thrilling rescue of Cowboy Sam.
