Book Guide

It's autumn in Cranberryport. "School again! And we have no money for new school clothes," Grandmother worries.

"And you need a new winter coat," Maggie adds.

Grandmother sets up a plan to earn the extra money, and the Cranberryport Antique Sale begins to form. A search of Grandmother's attic turns up a valuable items for the sale, but the trouble starts when the wily trickster Cyrus Grape enters the scene. With a little help from the guileless Mr. Whiskers, pandemonium breaks loose, and soon the whole town becomes enthusiastically involved.

Fans of the Cranberryport books will welcome this rollicking ninth addition to the much-loved series.
