It's autumn in Cranberryport. "School again! And we have no money for new school clothes," Grandmother worries.
"And you need a new winter coat," Maggie adds.
Grandmother sets up a plan to earn the extra money, and the Cranberryport Antique Sale begins to form. A search of Grandmother's attic turns up a valuable items for the sale, but the trouble starts when the wily trickster Cyrus Grape enters the scene. With a little help from the guileless Mr. Whiskers, pandemonium breaks loose, and soon the whole town becomes enthusiastically involved.
