Jenny Linsky, the beloved little black cat, has had the flu. But now she is better, and awaiting her first visitors.

Her brothers, Checkers and Edward, arrive first. They promise to stay until the Sand Cat comes. Jenny doesn't know who the Sand Cat is, but each of the visitors is certain that he will visit her soon. Meanwhile they entertain Jenny with gay talk and happy stories.
