Journeys is a selection of twelve short stories and essays written by Minfong Ho over two decades and three continents. Set in the various places where she has lived and worked, these compelling stories describe the journeys—both emotional and physical—undertaken by an intriguing array of people so diverse it includes Cambodian refugees in upstate New York, an old market woman in Thailand and a young windsurfer in Singapore. 

Also featured in Journeys is a provocative essay in which she documents the process by which she came to write the award winning novel, The Clay Marble (Best Children's Book of 1991, USA).
