A two-volume collection of short stories by Robert Louis Stevenson previously published in magazines between 1877 and 1880. Considered by some to have been his best work and the first ever literature in the short story genre.

Volume one included the short stories: The Suicide Club and The Rajah's Diamond.

Volume two included the short stories: The Pavilion on the Links, A Lodging for the Night, The Sire De Maletroits Door, and Providence and the Guitar.

The free online edition is the Henry Holt and Company 1882 edition in one volume.
