Each Saturday afternoon the six Tuttle cousins met: one weekend at the home of Laurel, Tressy and Molly, and the next weekend at the big white house of Julie, Rich and Ginny Mae. And at Aunt Callie's house all six could bump down the steps on the hall carpet, which they romantically dubbed the "President's Special," or watch Rich as he put Katy, the musical mule, through her paces.
