In this anthology of new stories and poems, here published for the first time in book form, fourteen writers, some already well-known, others just beginning to be, have spread enchantment over a wide range of subjects. There is something for most tastes and most things will please all, because they are of the best of their kind and rich in imagination and craftsmanship.

These Winter's Tales are firstly to delight, then also to provide an introduction for new readers to these authors and to their work. It is planned that this anthology should become an annual event.
