It was early one summer's morning when Brambly Hedge mice Poppy, Dusty, Primrose and Wilfred set sail for the sea.  They loosened the moorings, and waved goodbye to friends and family.  Their great adventure was about to begin.  

None of the mice from Brambly Hedge had ever sailed so far before, and certainly none of them had ever seen the sea! But all too soon they discovered it wasn't all easy sailing, and the mice had an important mission to fulfill before they could return home.
