We publish many of our books in both our standard font and OpenDyslexic, a typeface thoughtfully designed to support readers with dyslexia. OpenDyslexic features weighted, slightly heavier bottoms on each letter and distinct letter shapes, which help prevent the common experience of letters appearing to flip, rotate, or blur together on the page. The spacing and structure of the font also promote clearer tracking from word to word and line to line. While no single font is a complete solution, many readers find that OpenDyslexic reduces visual strain and increases reading confidence, allowing them to engage more fully with the text.
